TRAIL HEADS
CLICK ON THE AVAILABLE MAPS FOR TRAIL INFORMATION AND PARKING
Listed below are the trailheads that our running club typically uses, and that correspond with our weekly run schedule. All of these trails are the end result of many hours of hard work and love from the River Valley Cycling Club. Some of the trails are on public grounds and some trails are on private property. Please respect these trails and the amount of dedication it took to build them. If you are interested in helping build and maintain the abundant selection of singletrack we have, start by becoming a member of the River Valley Cycling Club or ask how you can volunteer your time at one of our weekly runs. Please note the locations of each of these trails. Allow yourself extra travel time if needed.
MARYSVILLE PLACE (MVP)
Marysville Place (aka MVP) is one of the best technical trails in the Fredericton area. This terrain is varied and always interesting. These trails are driest through the season and can often be a default when conditions are poor elsewhere. SEE THE FULL MAP.
ODELL PARK
Located right in the heart of the city, Odell park is chock-full of fun single track and great multi-use trails. This area is built on a hill. You've been warned.
The Trailhead is located just off of Waggoner's Lane between Smythe St. & Hanwell Rd. If driving, park in the parking lot and we will meet at the main gazebo/kiosk.
ISLANDVIEW
These trails are not extremely technical, but be warned - there is a leg-killer of a hill before stepping into the single track. The climb is worth the trails at the top. You can do it! This trailhead is also located just on city limits. Allow yourself appropriate travel time if meeting at the trailhead. Carpools leave at 6:10 sharp from 129 Westmorland St., Fredericton. PENNIAC/HADLEY TRAILS
Legendary Hadley/Penniac trails have been getting an overhaul over the last year with some new trails spanning from the Penniac Rec Center. Run around the new twisty hills on some of our much loved and improved single track.

WOOLASTOOK
Though not extremely technical there are some tricky spots to be aware of. The single track wraps around a beautiful body of water and up and down some great hills. The trailhead is located outside of city limits, so expect to take approximately 20 minutes to arrive. If it's hot and sunny after the run, we swim!

CLAUDIE ROAD
Located on the North side of Fredericton, these trails are windy, technical and a complete blast for new runners or seasoned pros. Often known as old school, rugged trails, this network is on a slow incline. The way down is always more fun!

UNB WOODLOT
UNB Woodlot begins on some doubletrack trails and then zips into the woods for some fun, rooty runs. This area is more developed than meets the eye.
May the course be with you.
Parking for 2019 will be at Costco in Knowledge Park
TOWER TRAILS
Tower trails are a mixture of technical single track and fire road and always a great spot to get acquainted with Marysville.
